Provider Pantry / Kern County Food Bank

There is a Provider Pantry where all licensed Family Child Care providers may shop for great food at REDUCED prices!!!

ALL Licensed Child Care Providers can make appointments to go in during the week by calling 398-4520. The food bank encourages providers come in during the week, so it is not too crowded on Saturday. No walk-ins.

New providers need to bring a copy of their licenses. The membership fee is still $40, but providers can call for more information. The price for all foods - dry & canned goods, meats, frozen items is $0.19 per pound. The cart is weighed when shopping is finished. They are also open on the first Saturday of the month, except when there is a holiday.
