Adult Mental Health Services provide medication evaluation and brief therapy support. Our adult program services adults, age 18 and up, who have acute or chronic mental health issues which may have required psychiatric hospitalization within the last year and who are residing in the communities of Arvin, Delano, DiGiorgio, Frazier Park, Lamont or Weedpatch. This contract with Kern County Mental Health serves non-insured, level II consumers as identified by the county.
Child Abuse Treatment (C.H.A.T.) is a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals dedicated to providing specialized, safe and supportive outpatient treatment for traumatized children and their families. Intervention services include individual, family and group psychotherapy, crisis counseling, medication evaluation, home and school visits and linkage to the Victims of Crime Program.
Child Mental Health Services provide individual, family and group counseling, case management, psychiatric evaluation and medication support. Our children’s program services children, up to age 18, who are living or attending school in the communities of Arvin, DiGiorgio, Frazier Park, Lamont or Weedpatch. This contract with Kern County Mental Health services children with Medi-Cal or Healthy Families and those with no insurance.

The clinic offers individual, couple, family and group counseling services to members of the Bakersfield community. Counseling services are provided by advanced graduate student clinicians from CSUB, supervised by a licensed marriage and family therapist. Fees for counseling services are $25 for the first session and $10 per session thereafter.

The Victim/Witness Assistance Center cares about the needs of victims and witnesses of crime, and provides personalized services to meet their needs. Their advocates respond to immediate needs, connect clients to appropriate community resources, counseling, reassurance and support following the crime.
